Pau-Brasil cross and a square commemorate the historical episode and the
scene is repeated every year on April 26th, with the wealth of the discovery
time elements. The scene is completed by the indios Pataxós tribe with
their typical short clothes. They are descended from the first inhabitants
of this place and are here deep-rooted. |
